Class flies by and in an effort to help keep everyone on track, I decided to create a spreadsheet to help you know where you stand each week. Click on the link above to check it out.
Some reminders:
-Only new work, taken for this class counts towards your grade
-No flash! Work with natural light.
-Fill the frame, think about light and composition each week.
-Put 50 or more images for each week in Google Drive and post your favorite 6-10 on the blog.
-Evidence of editing if needed... I compare the originals to your edits... make them better, not worse with your edits... that means no harsh overly saturated colors, excessive contrast, etc.
-Gratuitous tilting of the camera doesn't impress me...
-Mostly keep skies out of your shots unless the image is about the sky.
-Consider B and W... If you keep it in color, is that important to the image?
-I comment on each and every post, please read the comments... Consider writing comments on your classmates work too....
-Use Google Images to get inspiration.. also YouTube. Be inspired!
I will allow make-ups right up to the last day of class and will replace a previous grade with a new one with no penalty.
