The goal of this assignment is to get you in close… Then even closer. We call macro pictures that are very very close to the subject perhaps 1 inch away. My favorites are numbers four and five. Five however is missing the most important quality… And that is light. The other images were flowers just laying on the floor involves too much of the four but number five suddenly becomes quite magical because of the proximity of the camera to the object and the light that is working with it.
