Nice job with this series Marcus. This is a great example of how important it is for you to post in your Google drive all the original pictures. I can see that the quality many times is superior with the Un- edited versions. Take the top one for instance I find the cropping to be unnecessary and prefer the original framing. Even worse though is the excess saturation in red color that you added in the editing process. The original is far more natural and has far more beautiful skin tones. This is the part that I feel little sad about because I would love to spend time with each student individually working with you on how to interpret a photograph. I'm starting to conclude that the Apple engineers pretty much have it right and go with the flow with what the camera gives you.
The HDR capabilities of your phone camera make the portrait in full sun as it comes out of the camera pretty much perfect as it is. The beautiful little girl made me smile.
