Love the dramatic black-and-white edits! The strongest is the first one because of the strong sky and light on the ice… I can see the vignetting that you used to create this effect. It is dramatic. However if it's too easy to see then it may be a little heavy-handed… The intention is correct though. The next one down... See how the bright sky doesn't bring much to the party? All of that bright sky and bright snow on the right side have weakened the picture considerably. The bottom one has decent composition. Remember to straighten your horizon lines. That's a common pet peeve of mine. You can do it after the fact by rotating the picture on your phone editing software. It takes one second
