These are close and they are sharp… That's a good thing. One of the things I've been trying to emphasize over and over again during the class is to think a little more abstractly and not to shoot a whole object or whole building as a record of the object or the building. We use elements of the things around us to create expressive abstract compositions that takes things to a different level than merely recording the whole object. Sort of like in a catalog of objects for sale.
I was encouraging people to get outside and look in nature through one of the videos I posted earlier. That opens your eyes to textures and light in a way that's much harder to do indoors especially for a beginner.
