  1. Hi Kevin… I appreciate your focus and concentration on composition and filling the frame. It really is the core focus of this class. Now to improve… Macro is notoriously trickier to focus because of the extremely narrow depth of field when you're in so close. It's very much like learning to hit a baseball coming at you. It's all about timing and practice. Next be sure not to use a pinch zoom on a phone camera as that reduces the quality of the image dramatically. Finally aligning shutter speed to freeze motion in a handheld situation is an important concept to begin to understand as well. All in all though I would take nicely designed images over technically perfect but boring images for this class any day.

    One last thing… Try not to overly rely on cropping your picture to achieve composition it's much much better to frame the picture using the outlines of the camera frame and position your body rather than rely on cropping much.
