These are a few small images I found in my house. My 10 year old has a fetish for extremly tiny baby dolls so she had many of those around. I found a few things in the kitchen and around the house as well. I captured these photos with my I Phone 11.
My favorites are the finishing nails and the toothpicks. They have the most visual impact for me not only because they are simple and somewhat abstract but the way you edited them in black-and-white as a lot of impact as well.
Member as we try to photograph trying to keep the emphasis on thinking more abstractly and thinking about light composition and not to be drawn in by taking pictures "of stuff" in their entirety. The difference lies in the question, how can we use parts or elements of an object create abstract expression and rise above merely recording the whole object?
